Words have a value too simple to underestimate.

In the same way a well placed compliment could permanently improve your confidence, an insult could nourish a painful insecurity for a prolonged time.

 

The rakes we carry have the power to renew and flourish the soil, as well as to spoil and destroy the plantations.

 

The performance involves the crossing of two person's paths, each of them raking the earth.

The first crossing marks the word 'BELLE' on the ground.

The second crossing scars the word 'IDIOT' into the soil.

 

​The extended edition of this performance involves covering the the soil in words and inverting them.
